What gear do you wear ?

What pieces of gear do you wear ? What do you combine ?

Just a quick poll (just general interest). I don't include Aldens, as I don't think I have enough poll choices.

I wear my Wested whenever I can.

I will start wearing my MKVII when I start target shooting in the near future - but I won't be wearing any other Indy Gear to the range.

The Fedora is probably the thing I wear least. Probably because I have an Akubra stockman-style hat which is better suited to mowing the lawns, etc, by having a wider brim. It also looks less weird when married up to some work clothes.

I wear my Wested lamb up at the office all the time. It's cold where I sit so it works. I always have a fedora or brimmed hat on anymore.

I don't have any of the exact/authentic gear yet, but I wear a fedora, dress leather jacket and gas mask bag (plus Inyesque pants and brown shoes) daily and everywhere. Once in a while, I'll throw on a tie too.

It's funny because you can wear the pants, shirt, jacket, tie and even the bag and not be pegged as Indy. You put the fedora on..."Hey! It's Indy!"

That's very true - tonnes of people dress like Indy without the hat and they don't even realize it.

Or a cowboy depending on where whether or not they know what a fedora is...
I use my MKVII around all the time to carry stuff. People just assume I got it at a night market or something, because in Asia alot of people use shoulder bags. When they start a convo about it, I get into the fact that it's a repro of a WWII respirator bag, blah blah blah.
I wear my cotton raiders when its cooler, and I usually wear my Fedora on a regular basis, but every once in a while I'll let my head breath a bit.

Just my 2 NT....(darnit they don't use pennies here...)

My fed is probably the thing I wear the most. I work inside so not to work but most of the time I'm outside on weekends etc.
I'd like to wear my Wested more often, but its simply too warm a lot of the time. Usually restricted to autumn / winter / very early spring.
I seldom wear the Wested with the fed - its just becomes too recognisable.

I wear a fedora every day. A Wested when it gets colder or when in inclement weather. I used several MKVII's for music supplies and on band trips. I use the whip to discipline my students . . . . . well not really, but there have been days where I've strongly considered "conducting" with it. :whip:

Winter months I'll wear my Peter Bros Fedora, but summer I opt for a ballcap or straw fedora. I usually always wear my JCrew look-a-likes also.

1. Wested for a dress jacket with any slacks/jeans in public. (Dark lamb-natural distress) No hat.

2. Wested with khakis, brown Chippewas, and an Optimo Indy Fedora traveling to/from work.

3. Wested/black T-shirt/khakis or BDUs/web belt/ brown leather German pistol belt(as a toolbelt) and a Federation Standard all day at work. (everyone else wears dirty ballcaps) if it warms up, the jacket comes off.

4. The above with a "close-enough" Indy style shirt if it's windy or cold.

5. Add a trench coat over the Wested plus the Akubra for rain/drizzle.

6. Swap the trench coat and Fed Standard for a Toht German leather officer's coat and a black Resistol Toht Fedora traveling to work during the winter cold days.
