NE Whip Enthusiast's on Boston TV!!!

Post by Dalexs »

First the links:

A Hi & Lo Res WindowsMedia version can be found here for a while:

HiRes Whip Story-9mb Streaming

LoRes Whip Story- 2mb Streaming

I forgot to mention it earlier (for the benefit of the locals) but then the story got bumped a few days because of some baseball game thingy or something...

Apparently, after the Boston Globe article came out about Whip Enthusiast's (and the New England chapter in particular) and Catwoman etc...

the local ABC affiliate, WCVB-TV Ch5, contacted Eric Inman about wanting to do a story on the group for their daily magazine show.

It was to be part of a "Who knew??!!?? " version of the show.

Eric Inman, myself, and the gentleman from CoyoteWhips (I'm sorry, his name escapes me...) were there to demonstrate and tell our story.

I think they did a nice little story. I also know that there is a ton of other footage which i hope to get my hands on at some point.

Enjoy.

That's great news about the coverage! Wish the link worked on my end.

Thanks, Dalexs! So, Oprah got herself a private whip instructor? Interesting! :whip:

Since I can't see the video, who did Oprah use as her instructor?

ITG

Try right clicking and SAVE TARGET.

If you have an older machine/slower machine, it may not like the big video files.
If you don't have a recent version of Windows Media Player, that could casue a problem as well. (This may be the more likely reason.)
Also try to Copy/Paste the link into a new browser window.

Yeah, unfortunately, they didn't use ANY ofthe footage they shot of me using your whip.

They pretty much concentrated on Eric as an instructor.
He was showing me how to do a Coachman crack, which is a bit difficult with the 10', but works great with his 6' Austrailian bull
(which reminds me, I need to talk to you about making something like that!)

If and when I get hold of the footage (believe me , I'm trying...)
I hope to put something together with what wasn't used.

Thanks for the comments folks.
