Arf! I thought as much, so I deliberately checked this thread LAST in case I had to stay off COW for 24 hours...okay, 1 day of abstinence starting right after this post. See you guys Friday (Pacific Daylight Time).Michaelson wrote:You get the kewpie doll today, Jerry.
Rick, that is a beautiful jacket - well weathered. (Was that naturally distressed by time, wear, and love, or did I just get in even deeper w/ Michaelson?)
Re: the Double-Demon-Roll (TM) - I would have rolled the other side to match as well!
As I mournfully trudge out and let the computer cool, I still can't help thinking it DOES look like a drape problem caused when the collar softens and it rolls out towards the points...cie le vie...

Thank you. Let us just say it was artificially distressed by time, acetone and love . Actually, I started it out with acetone and over the last year it has developed natural distressing and character as well. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds. Whenever I get new gear, I try to make it look like it belongs with the old gear to some degree. Wearing a jacket frequently dictates some degree of natural distressing will occur.Indiana Jerry wrote:

And don't worry about Michaelson. I wrote this response early enough where we should be able to slip it by before he has his first cup of coffee.

Thanks Michaelson. It's that old disney jacket. That US Wings is going like gangbusters - it's got the perfect drape!

My distressed cow also has the Demon Ruffle. It is a difficult phenomenon to describe accurately, but it's almost like a large pleat, in some respects. Not bothersome in any way, and does not detract from the appearance of the jacket, but I know of what he speaks. It only does this when unzipped, tho.
