Anyone notice how short the Wested shirt is?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Am I the only one that noticed this? Compared to my M.B.A. shirt the Wested is at least 4 inches shorter while the M.B.A. has the correct long front points and rear. I'll take a pic to illustrate in a bit.

I think the reason is you never really see the whole of the shirt in the films as most of the time its tucked into Indy's pants so you cant see from the screen exactly what the bottom of Indy's shirt is like.

Most dress shirts are longer so that it prevents them from becoming untucked (as this Wested will no doubtedly do to me). One stretch and it will be pulling out.

Go look at the Cairo fight. The shirt is out most of that scene. I have the perfect picture to put up to show this.

Hunh...now there's a tougher choice...a shorter shirt, screen-accurate, but 'rigged' to untuck in a fight scene, or a non-screen-accurate shirt that stays tucked in...

...I'd have to go for the longer one. Too bad Wested says they don't do special orders on the shirts, or you could order one long. At least, they TOLD me they don't...anybody hear any different?

You got it all right except you have the screen accurate part switched around. If you just simply take the time to look at the facts you'll see that the MBA shirt has always been a more screen accurate shirt in every way. Take a look.

The only problem I've had with my mba shirt is the short length. It always seems to come untucked whenever I'm moving around a lot or bending over. I can't imagine the Wested being any shorter. :-k

Jerry;
I've heard nothing different regarding custom orders either. I asked them about making the sleeves longer, or even trading measuring features between sizes but it was a no-go.

When I ordered my shirt a few weeks ago, I was tempted to ask if it could be made without the pen pocket (I don't like them) but didn't bother, as I assume that maybe these shirts are mass-produced, and are 'off-the-rack' when ordered. Not that this is a bad thing, it speeds up the order process, and shirts aren't close to as individual as a jacket, anyway.
