Good Indy-Style Airsoft Gun?

Post by Andiana »

Hey guys. Well, I decided to hook myself up with an airsoft gun to add to my new holster (I'm gonna ditch the toy gun...)

Anyways, I really want a revolver style one, like Indy's (I'm not a Ind-gun expert, so help me out here!) but I don't know where to find one online. Do you guys know of anypplace that sells Indy-type revolver airsoft guns??

And info would be greatly appreciated! :P

I found this one.

It's a copy of a .357 but, it has a 4 inch barrel and about the same stylings. It's spring operated.

here's one that is gas operated.

This should get you going on your search.

I own 2 co2 airpistols, my favourite being this:

It's a daisy co2 revolver, fits perfectly in the sportsmansguide holster too!

OK, there's another good option for you with a spring-loaded Indy revolver. It's called a Smith & Wesson police special - 4" barrel, nice wood-effect grips, very cool looking airsoft gun. Unfortunately I don't have a pic at the moment - I'll try to find one for you 148.

EDIT: Here ya go:

Sorry the photo is so small! As far as i know, this gun comes in a spring version and a gas version. Looks very nice though, I must say! :)

I also found this right here -

I think that one is almost like the one you showed me Proxene. There is also one with a shorter barrell, But I like the "TOD" and "LC" revolver look better.

That gun looks pretty good, the only thing that would really bug me is the moulded grips:

For a truly LC look, you need to think about a Webley reproduction revolver. There are several old threads on COW regarding this, but they don't come cheap, be warned!

I'm interested to see what you finally chose - post some pics!

You have chosen...wisely!

That's a Daisy Powerline 44 .177 cal. CO2 Pellet Revolver with a 6" barrel.

Very, very nice.

It's got a real kick to it, very powerful for an airgun, and a real Indy 'look' about it although not specific to any particular movie. It's somewhere between the hand ejector and the Webley, but I just love it. :)

It's all metal, heavy weight and can rapid-shoot six .177 pellets or you can also cock the lever and fire off a single shot for greater accuracy.

A particularly nice feature of the gun is the lanyard-look ring at the base of the grips - this actually doubles as the CO2 replacement chamber.

The line was discontinued a couple of years ago, but I have a source in the UK whicj still has plenty in stock at an amazing price. PM me if you want the details. :)

I'm very interested in getting that pistol. I'll just be a little broke after my most recent purchase (Fedora). I'll get back to you on the offer.

Yeah, I just received my holster from Bufflehead Jones and it's great. Good price to, isn't it?:)

If you do decide to go for the Daisy, it fits absolutely perfectly in the holster.

To paraphrase a forum favourite, Best gun I've owned in 20 years!

Don't worry,,,it seems your "house rules" don't stand for long. This kids gonna shoot his eye out , and you Indygear people will be responsible for it.

Well Mike, you make a valid point - Safety first is ALWAYS the way with even a BB gun. Anyone who doesn't think they can own a BBgun without 'shooting their eye out' should refrain from buying one in the first place.

I'll just re-quote Michaelson's words of advise.
Michaelson wrote:...remember that firearms can be potentally dangerous, even deadly, if not handled in the correct manner, and by responsible adults. Please follow ALL pertinent laws and safety rules when handling a firearm. Treat ALL firearms as though loaded at all time, keeping them pointed downrange, or in a safe directly AWAY from all persons. Remember, they're only as safe as the person handling them.
