Wested sizing question

Post by Flattery »

I'm purchasing a Wested Raiders secondhand from a gentleman on this forum. My standard jacket size is 38S, give or take -- it depends on whether it's a jacket or a suit blazer.

However, the seller posted measurements for the jacket, and even though it's size 36, the measurements are dead on, exactly where I need them to be. Now, I'm a pretty skinny guy -- I wear 29-30 size pants, and a "small" in all leather jackets. My question is: I should be fine with a size 36 Raiders, right? I'm positive that it will work out, I just wanted other points of view.

Worse-case scenario, you can always resell the jacket and put it towards a new one... But if the measurements sound exact, it sounds like you could be okay...

As long as they are exact.

Remember, Wested fits is tight fitted. So if it's dead on to a jacket you own and find comfortable, then you might be in luck. Otherwise, you may have a problem with something other than a t-shirt underneath.
