I called David Morgan today to get some updates. I was mostly interested in his new book on whip making. The current date is now set for November 1st. His new catalog just went out a couple of days ago and the catalog has the new book with ordering information.
On the good news front, no price increase this year on his whips. He mentioned that he is going to be offering more choices in stockwhips in the catalog.
We talked about THE movie. However, with a production date of May 2004, there really isn't any reason for the prop department to be stocking up on production whip any time soon.
Take Care .....

November first! This book is like an oasis. I can see it in the distance, but it gets further away the closer I get to it. I haven't anticipated a book this much since Timothy Zahn's Star Wars books in the early '90's. I'm pretty sure that DM's book will have a better ending though.
I'm going to have to stop in to David's shop again soon. I haven't paid him a visit in several weeks. I always have to set at least an hour aside to do it because he loves talk'n whips and I love listening.

Well you can order through him, but as long as there is an ISBN, I'm sure a regular book store can order the book from the publisher (Cornell Press). But hey, order the book from David Morgan and have him autograph it. He enjoys that. )Indiana Texas-girl wrote:will the book be available at Barnes n Nobles? Or do we order directly from DM?
