Re: How To Make Sweat Stains

something I came up with to put sweat stains on the ribbon. I boil a small pot of water with a couple hand fulls of salt in it. Stir until the salt dissolves and pour it in something to work from. Then I use a small pointed paintbrush to 'paint' where I want the sweat stain on the ribbon. Be careful...

Yes
The Raiders Sable is new and looks great in person.
For some reason it photographs darker than it is.

The 3rd pic with it is the most accurate color but still a little dark. Its quite the chameleon
in different lighting.

I have 2 SoC hats made by Thomas. With another Smoke Soc on the way. The solution for me was to only stiffen the bash and leave the rest of the hat relatively alone. The brim warps perfectly and is nice and floppy in a wind. link to the first 2 http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=68465

I tend to treat my gear as clothing I like to wear. Fedora- almost always Jacket- when needed satchel- whenever we hit the parks shirts- normal rotation I save the whip, belt and holster for 'special' days ;) You'll be surprised at how many compliments you get on your hat. The more use and enjoyment...

I just washed them on gentle or wool cycle and let them lay flat to nearly dry then wore until dry. Sounds weird but worked great for these and my super heavy weight WPG pants. I think I remember Holt buying a size Larger and washing them to get to his actual size and have the pants look
more lived in but this may have been with military pinks.

I have the new model wested without the tapered legs and I am a 33 waist. I bought 36
washed them and they are perfect for me.
