Mike from northwest hats was affordable for a reblock. I asked Thomas at Advintage if he'd reblock any other branded hats and he said he didn't have the time to do other brands except Advintage.
I would ask Brian L for prices. He does good work too.

Re: New (to me) Adventurebilt Rabbit Raiders
Maybe one day down the line when it needs a reblock ask for it to be pounced a bit more.

Re: Alden's Dark Brown Rusticalf Indy Boot
I bought these rusticalf leather Alden Indy's about a month ago. I returned them. After owning chromexcel and calfskin, the rusticalf seemed thin and soft, which is great If that's what you're looking for. I wanted robust boots especially if we have them on a commando sole. I'm sure they were fine b...

Re: Alden Stitching Problem?
Mine flexed there too. But it's normal. Bedos leatherwork on youtube actually replaced the stitches by hand and Alden can fix them too.

Re: Reblock suggestions please
I have a Penman, I have had him restore and reblock a hat. He's great! Little pricy though. I had my ABL reblocked by Mike from Northwest hats for around $60(but I think I had new ribbon and other things that drove up the price). Please consider Mike Miller of Northwest hats for reblocking. The wait...

Re: adVintage Hats Question
I know the 'Harrison adVintage' is a nice budget option. I only thought of going with the 'RoLA adVintage Fedora' because of the nice swoop the brim has in the back. I likehow it sweeps down, instead of going up. I ordered a raiders streets of cairo fedora around end of November and it arrived befo...

Re: Northwest Post Em
Mike makes excellent hats. I have bought one raiders and had him reblock an ABL. Only issue was that first hat was a bit stiff. So I made sure to request less stiffener on the reblocked ABL. Check out my link to my snupps shelf because I can't post pictures with such high resolution here. http://snu...

Re: The Advintage SOC support group
So I’m having some issues with mine now that I’ve been wearing it. The fit when I first put it on is great. Not too tight and not too loose, spot on. However, as I wear the hat I can feel it start to move, the front of the hat Anybody have any thoughts? It may just be your head shape, or the hat is...

Re: Northwest Hat Company "Cairo"
I absolutely love my NW Indy hat that mike made for me. I've got a Penman and an AB and it's right up there with them. I wanted to post pictures of my NW hat but I don't even know how to upload or image host in this old forum.

Re: Penman Raider.... Beaver vs. Rabbit
I have a beaver hat of his and its extremely soft, malleable, and dense. Its been fine in light rain and has kept its shape for the past 2 years I've had it. I have a rabbit/beaver blend and a rabbit Delk Adventurebilt. By comparison, those are similarly soft felts but not as soft as the beaver and ...
