Re: All of the "Close Enough" Boots?
I received my Eastland Brice boots a couple days ago, they're great! Went with the natural leather and a dash of fullers earth. I'll pick up some different laces at some point. They're breaking in nicely after a second day of wear.

Re: New Indy Whip Video (by me)
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. You make it look easy. Ive got most of the basic cracks down, but I still struggle to do a successful transition, much less a quick one.

Re: Updated Indy Gear
Boots finally arrived. I've already ordered some longer dark brown paracord laces, but I figured i'd borrow a lace from my Clarks to see the difference in color: I just had to exchange my dr martens today. After three weeks of light use, the very rear of the sole started to detach on the right boot...

Re: Whip #2 10' Nylon Indy
Thank you for the resources! I have a 10' leather bullwhip of unknown vintage that I had to do some repairs on. It turned out great and I really enjoy cracking it. Now I've got the bug to build a couple. My 7 year old daughter wants one for her birthday in August, so I think I should be able to get ...

Re: Whip #2 10' Nylon Indy
Awesome, thanks for the tip. I wasn't liking the idea of electrical tape. I've worked with the stuff enough to know it couldn't be good for this purpose. Do you have a particular set of instructions you use? I'm really wanting to make a few whips of varying length.

Re: Whip #2 10' Nylon Indy
That's a beautiful whip. Did you use the method of wrapping the plaited cores in electrical tape?
