RIP Steve. Was a privilege being able to get an Indy 4 beaver from him. Wish I still had my old emails but alas Yahoo is stupid. He will be very much missed.

I'd buy the HJ if low on funds and really really want the logo/sense of authenticity from the "makers of the original". But if I had money, I'd go with Penman/Adventurebilt.

Sad news. I was finally gonna pull the trigger on a Raiders jacket till I heard the news. I hope they eventually carry on his legacy as a great way to memorialize him.

My beaver AB Raiders got squished by the Indiana Jones ride transport again. Still came out of it in pristine shape again.

I have a Raiders AB Beaver hat and it's survived a lot of punishment, including being run over by the Indy ride car at Disneyland. I also own a CS HJ rabbit and Akubra FedIV grey rabbit but I just like the feel of the beaver hat more. You can guess which one I take outside more!

I wear an adventurebilt beaver Raiders in the SoCal heat. Feels the same as a baseball cap to me haha. I may look into an Akubra Federation carbon grey though.

I was lucky enough to land a Steve Delk recently. After seeing and feeling a Penman, I can certainly put him in the same tier. A custom beaver felt fedora is always worth saving and waiting for if you can wait that long.

I've had my AB Raiders beaver squished in a suitcase and by an Indy ride troop transport, whacked at, rained on, stepped on by man and horse, as well as sat on.
