Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
Alright gang, The materials have been sent to the manufacturer for the next shirt! :CR: I should have a sample in a few weeks. Now, I am working with a new manufacturer who has a great reputation. The exciting thing is that they are based in the USA and do everything in house. As a result, prices *...

Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
Thinking seriously about keeping the pants even though I already asked him for a refund. I didnt realize how much difference a few pounds would make. So after some consideration I tried them on with my boots and they are not 'too long' when considering the extra height the Indy boots give me, and I ...

Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
Update: the pants are now not available on the Karolin dry goods etsy, and the website is now empty? Also the pants are gone from Karolin dry goods etsy now? What are my chances of getting an exchange/refudn now? I lost a few more pounds and now the pants -almost- fit me, and i think staying on the ...

Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
Reach out, he has great customer service, (no pressure Karolian) but I had an issue with a mark on my first, and he swapped with no problems. So as long as he has the 36, you should be all set. But as far as the length, most of us have had to take them to a Taylor or seamstress. Just ask for a mili...

Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
My pants came in, and they look nice, however they don't fit me at all despite being my size being 34, and I ordered 34. Or they would be super tight and uncomfortable to walk in. :( I was looking forward to Indy pants to wear for comic con too. ](*,) Sadly will have to return. Or is it possible I s...

Wested Temple of Doom Jacket- Need assistance before I buy.
I am looking to get a Temple of Doom Jacket from Wested but I had a few questions before I commit to buying it. I would like to get a feel from the community here what their thoughts are. I have already taken my measurements, they are 40.5 (chest), 22 (pit to pit), 6 (shoulder), 25 (sleeve), 24 (bac...

Re: All of the "Close Enough" Boots?
These look to be A+ by Aldo Men's Edwin Boots from Target. http://baker-design.net/misc/Edwin1.jpg http://baker-design.net/misc/Edwin2.jpg Nice! I might go there this weekend, see if they still have them in stock. That is very good value for the price. Edit: Didnt see the big 'clearance' marking un...

Re: All of the "Close Enough" Boots?
A while back in this topic somebody mentioned Crevo boots. I recently found the Crevo Roughneck on Amazon for $35.00 USD. Here are a couple of snaps of the Crevo Roughneck in action: http://www.puuikibeach.com/images/hats/crevo1.jpg http://www.puuikibeach.com/images/hats/crevo2.jpg I should have ch...

Re: Indy Boot for everyday use
So I have lately become interested in the topic of an Indy Boot for everyday use as well. Namely due to wanting to replace my regular shoes in my Indy ensemble. However some of the options i have seen are considerably higher priced. Is there a cheap close enough option under 100 dollars? If not, let...

Re: All of the "Close Enough" Boots?
Hello, Kind of been away for a bit but was considering buying some close enough boots to complete my Indiana Jones out. However, there are a few stipulations I have in my search. One, that the boot must be 'rainproof', two ,that it be under 100 dollars, and can be worn everyday. (I plan to wear it a...

Shrinking an L.L. Bean Shirt?
Okay, I got a L.L. Bean Khaki long sleeved safari shirt. Not sure if this can be shrunk, ran it through the washer on a hot/hot cycle and not sure if I did anything wrong. It seemed like it was maybe a bit smaller after but not sure if it was my imagination.

Re: Shrinking a Cabela's shirt?
They have pretty good return policies. Contact customer service and im sure theyll help. Sent from the Bantu Wind using Tapatalk. I bought it from ebay so I am kind of worried about it. (I bought it from ebay because it was cheaper then the price on the website) So I take it there is no way to shri...

Shrinking a Cabela's shirt?
I bought one of the Cabela's shirts, (stone color) that read as 'close enough' , but i misjudged the size, and turns out its about a size too big for me. (Large when I am Medium) Is there a way to safely shrink this shirt in a way that won't damage it? I don't really want to have to buy another one....

Re: Cheapest 'Close Enough' Indy Shirt?
Check around on ebay too. There's always close enough safari shirts floating around there. Regards, Indiana Jeff Thanks for the tip. I was considering ebay too. Maybe I'll look at ebay using the Cabela's Safari shirt and the Todd's shirt as comparisons to see if what I see on ebay is similar. Also,...

Re: Cheapest 'Close Enough' Indy Shirt?

And so are Todd's Costumes...guess I'm going to have to wait until the Cabela Safari shirts go on sale as I heard they do sometimes. Re: Cheapest 'Close Enough' Indy Shirt?
Cabela's safari shirts. TOUGH AS NAILS and some look very close. Can be had online. Sent from the Bantu Wind using Tapatalk. I'm looking, and see they have two Safari shirts that seem very, very close. The 65/35 shirt that is 'regular', or the 65/35 that is 'tall'? Both about the same price, but th...
