Finally got the notification that my hj dod is on its way! I will get some pictures taken and posted once it's in!

Thanks for posting that. I really like the DoD nutmeg felt color, but don't care for the ribbon color. Not enough contrast to my eye. Check out this video by Michelle showcasing the different Indy hats. It's lighter than I had first thought it looked in some of the pics, I'll be interested to see how it looks compared to my AB raiders in beaver .

Did you have any problems with the hat tapering?

If worn after getting up a good sweat drop it in the dirt, hit it a couple times and repeat. The dirt gets into the grains and won't come out until brushed. Wearing everyday in all weather works best.
