I'm in exactly the same boat, Ian buddy. Yeah, that happened to me when my M-1913 Patton Sabre was delivered from the states, Customs hit me for $250 on the spot! Not a nice way to wake up in the morning!

I think I lived on 'Happy Shopper' bread and baked beans for a month after that! :shock:

How does the dividers look inside and how's the space? Is it similar to an MKVII?
I'll take some photos of the inside of my issued bag for you and I'll compare it with a couple of the inside of the older OG I have aswell.

Rob, That's the old style PLCE OG (Personal Load Carrying Equipment, Olive Green) gas mask bag, usually worn on the rear of your webbing belt with your other pouches rather then like we wear the MKVIIs. The current issue is very similier, but is in DPM (Camouflage) How's that for useless information...

I called Peter today, because I orderd a goat some time ago, he was a bit distracted with other things, but explained that the hides that they had got in weren't good enough, so they were waiting for a new lot to come in.. They're expected either this week or next..... I *hope* that I'll get it soon...

As far as I'm aware, there was no civilian varient of the army MKVII bags.

The bag you have there Mason is for a civilian special service type gas mask.

Oops, sorry I had a blonde moment :oops:

I would say then, it was supposed to be the 'upper end of the market' work boot; as they are very tough and high leg.
