Loose or non-functioning jacket poppers / press studs fix

Loose or non-functional pocket flap poppers (press studs) on your jacket? Here’s an easy fix. Push the poppers together, turn the jacket over into a flat surface and through the jacket lining, give each popper a careful hit with a hammer. Result, perfect fix. At least it worked for me! I googled and...

Re: R.I.P Peter Botwright

I'm realise that I'm very late with this post, but have only just heard of Peter's passing since buying a new Wested this very week. Back in the day (I think it was '06?) Peter and his wife, plus all at Wested, made us Indy fans feel very welcome, even opening up their home to us and putting on a bu...

Re: my fedora from DisneyLand

I've got one. Honestly, it's not a top quality hat compared to all the high-end Indy fedoras, but it's good for the price.

Don't worry about all the expensive versions, or get too obsessed with accuracy - for now, just enjoy your hat and wear it well! That's all that matters.

The Pen is mightier than this post! Or vice-versa...

Nice post my friend, very informative. I'm generally a Biro man myself, having developed a dislike for fountain pens in Latin class at age 11, but I can appreciate their beauty and charm now.

Instead of the airsoft, you can buy a rubber or resin prop revolver. Great for costuming or display, better than any airsoft in terms of legality.

Well, all leather is animal skin so it will stretch, shrink or dry up depending upon what you subject it to. Putting any leather, regardless of type, through a wash and dry cycle will do funny and unpredictable things to it. It might also ruin it. Washing and drying temps. vary depending upon your m...

I'm fairly sure that Watson's service revolver in the Granada series of Sherlock Holmes was the same revolver too - maybe that exact one, actually, as they were both ITV drama presentations.

The more the hobby develops, the better for the fans.

Nah - I love the gear and all, but I'll probably turn out in a pair of jeans and a Raiders t-shirt.

Costuming is cool at cons, parties or organised fundraising events etc., but I wouldn't feel comfortable going to see KOTCS in full gear.

Kudos to those who will, though - all power to ya!

Lost-ark, if I remember correctly, is/was owned by a member here, Indiana Dudley.

I ordered a strap from them some time back and was quite happy with it. It's probably worth shooting them an email first to check they are still up and running.
