Re: Fedoraiders SOC Herbert Johnson - Showcase & Review thread!
Thanks Michaelson. :TOH: I did have to let my costume display mannequin go a few months ago, but I'm still very much into this and am happy to add this SOC HJ to my collection. Looking forward to receiving one of Bernardo's "Raiders 2" bullwhips soon to complete my little wall display. Reg...

Re: Fedoraiders SOC Herbert Johnson - Showcase & Review thread!
I recently received my SOC hat from Jason. Without doubt it is THE best Indy Fedora I have ever owned. It is so accurately styled and distressed - I just couldn't fault anything about it. The brim styling is superb and all of the peculiarities only seen on Ford's Raiders hat are included in this hat...

Re: Fedoraiders SOC Herbert Johnson - Showcase & Review thread!
I was lucky enough to see FP's SOC Fedora on the day that it arrived. There's really nothing else I can say that hasn't already been said. Just look at the photos if you want to know what this hat is like. In all the years I have collected Indy gear, I can honestly say that I've NEVER seen a Fedora ...

1.25" is too far away based on my observations. That's why I asked for it to be 1 inch away instead. The snaps were not positioned correctly on my first jacket - they were too close to the tip of the pocket flap. 2 inches to the centre line (measured from the top of the flap to the centre of th...

Nowak Raiders jacket - Number 81 *UPDATED PICS*
Hi everyone, I recently received jacket number 81 from Tony. I fell in love with the smoother shrunken lamb that was used for Yojimbo Jones' jacket and Tony delivered yet more first class customer service with the creation of this jacket. This is the same size as Ford's jacket that Tony measured. I ...

Re: Todd's Jacket Owner's Thread
Regarding the collar on Todd's jackets - my Todd's custom has a collar EXACTLY the same length and detail as my Nowak jacket. I thought it was interesting to see that both collars were the same. Wested confirmed that the collar on my Todd's is 1 inch longer than what they would have put on one of th...

Re: TN Raiders pocket vs Raider pocket
Platon, I urge you to apply these techniques to photos of a jacket that you own before you start trying to rationalise proportions on screen grabs. I've been through this process that you're attempting and the results are totally and utterly inconclusive. As I mentioned in another thread, I tried ap...

Re: All the Raiders Jacket details in one place...
It seems I've caused some confusion here. Just to clarify - I can confirm with 100% accuracy that my Nowak jacket pockets were exactly 6.5 inches wide x 8 inches tall. The pocket flap measured 3 inches (from the top of the "piping" to the very bottom edge of the tip). All these measurement...

Re: TN Raiders pocket vs Raider pocket
Just to let you know about a very important lesson I learned. It's really not possible to get accurate measurements from scaling photos. How do I know this? Well, I took a photo of my TN jacket #27 and attempted to apply these scaling techniques to my photo. Remember, I had the actual jacket in hand...

Re: Nowak Indy1 "Temple" Jacket
Yojimbo confirmed that the Front length and Back length are the same. They are both 23 inches. This fact adds a lot of weight to the argument that the perceived length of the jacket is purely dependent on the posture of the wearer and also the way the jacket is draped on the body. Chris Great jacket...

That looks awesome!
Great choices that you made for the requested changes.
Looks like you got the smoother shrunken lamb. Is that correct or is the "dino hide" texture just getting lost in your pics?
I sent you a PM!
Cheers,
Chris

Yes, I'm presuming that slydini got the exact copy. However, that concerns me a bit because the pockets on his jacket were clearly not the same as the jacket in the screengrab I've shown earlier.
