hey thanks for the comparison shot! i've been thinking about getting a goat for the toughness, but i hate the shine that i see in all of the pictures. the lamb seems to be shinier than the goat here (i've got no problem with mine at all) and i just got pushed over the edge. look out (authentic?) goa...

i remember a few months ago, there was a vendor on ebay getting rid of a TON of these jackets to almost specification for dirt cheap (~$25+s/h). I think mine has a peakless lapel and side pockets, i had to add the black buttons on the sleeves, but is otherwise screen accurate. not sure if theres any...

Yeah look at MKs site, use sandpaper on the seams, and wipe acetone on with paper towels to remove color.... yup. just make sure you do this in the reverse order, or you'll be wiping around color on untreated leather which will soak in the excess color while you're acetoning and make it impossible ...

yeah i don't bake either. I tried it once and had nothing but problems. I did it again as an experiment (one side baked and the other not) the baked side got really messed up in a month or two of really heavy usage. So, i just peeled it off and started over.

my advice to you: don't bake.

yeah pics really really help if your doing it for the first time.

i wouldn't worry too much about painting, once you put the top layer of epoxy on, it really smooths the paint on the clover out and makes it look nice.

best of luck and make sure to post pics!

if any of you are wondering what to do with studio lighters to protect them, i remember from the fall guy page that it was possible to put a layer of epoxy on top of it with out any ill effects. HOWEVER, you should be very careful not to mess it up, as you can't pick it off and restart like you coul...

I think that with gussets, it may depend on the size and type of leather. I have a non-indy cowhide jacket thats exactly my size and it could REALLY use gussets. I also have a raiders lamb that i got a tiny bit larger than my size with no gussets and its wonderful, i don't even notice that they're n...

I don't smoke, but always carry a lighter. For one, it's a great "just in case" item. Two, is best illustrated with this scenario. *click, click, click* gorgeous woman says a curse as she bangs her bic lighter against her palm trying to light her ciggarette. *Clink, click* as Craig pulls ...

i'm not sure if i have it better off, or worse off than some of you other wested lamb owners. One of my pleats stays closed great, but the other doesn't. The end result is funky.

I'm convinced that with some minute adjustments, I can fix this however.

I wouldn't worry about this for two reasons.

1) its been said that he'll keep his classic digs.
2) Mystery of the Blues

I love my wpg bag... now (don't love the strap but it does its job). However, when i first got it, the rings were sewn on so poorly that after just one day of wearing it with minimal cargo (LC VHS tape - thats it!) they almost completely came unstitched. I have since resewn them and it looks and fun...

I have to say that ToD is my all-around favorite in regards to the films. There are certianly different elements of the others that i like better, but I think that ToD gives us more insight into Indy's raw character than the other two. Its also cool to have indy out of "context" (either wh...
