Re: New Review

riku1914 all the nylon whip makers I know use ball chain, bb’s or lead shot to add weight to nylon whips. Who is using a stainless cable core? Do you own or use Dusty’s bullwhips to be able to make those observations and comparisons? Dusty’s method is completely different then plaited layers. I will...

Re: Strain vs Del Carpio . . . Three years later

Yes thank you riku1914. I am familiar with Darens ability and his youtube videos. While I was trying to pay him a compliment keep in mind he’s only been cracking whips seriously since 2007 and though he has become skilled in the basic methods and techniques, that is a drop in a much larger bucket co...

Re: New Review

While the reviewer’s reputation among many whip artists and whip makers outside his own site leaves much to be desired, I do l trust my own eyes. To me the bullwhip you crafted looks well done. I do find some of your construction methods intriguing and am skeptical about the stainless steel cable ru...

Re: New matched pair of stockwhips

Tomek9210, The stock whips themselves look finely done but I find the turkhead style knots too large for my personal tastes. For a sports whip enthusiast who might wish to use these in routine work, large knots may make the grip awkward and uncomfortable. If you examine the most popular stockwhips u...

Re: Srain vs Del Carpio . . . Three years later

DHW, That is a handsome pair of Indiana Jones bullwhips you own, they look like they have movie character now. I might suggest that you replace the nylon cracker on the one Delcarpio made. It is looking very worn out. Out of the most common Roo colors the only one that i have found not to continue t...

Re: The 4 corners?

Thank you very much gentlemen, I appreciate your helpful replies and the information you have supplied. Bullwhip Borton your latest video on youtube demonstrating dual Hassetts 4 corners was partly responsible for this inquiry, well-done sir. I am familiar with the Arrowhead and met Mike Murphy when...

The 4 corners?

Hello fellow Whip crackers, This is my first post here but I’ve been enjoying reading over the site since joining a few weeks ago. I had a question that maybe someone here can help answer. It’s about a routine called The 4 corners. While speaking with a former member of the W.W.A.C about bullwhip tr...
