Re: Screen accurate specs., a member's own view
Thanks for the info. I just ordered a Raiders goat from Magnoli with some modifications such as single snap on the bottom of the storm-flap. I struggled quite a while with the length as I wanted something short, but not too short. I'm not after screen accuracy because I not screen accurate myself. I...

Greetings programs. I'm in the process of getting together my measurements for a Raiders style jacket from Magnoli. The jacket I'm using to base the new meaurements on is my 10 plus year-old Wested cowhide. I've noticed that the length of the front and back differs some--the back being about 2 inche...

In my experience the Wested pants are very good pants, but by comparison Magnoli's are better tailored, made, and more screen accurate. I ordered mine with a 4 inch military hem. The stitching on the pockets inside the pants is far superior to Wested's. For example, when I wear my Wested's, you can ...

What color did you opt for on the Magnoli's? They look great. I really like that color. I never thought the NH or Wested color was very Raiders. They're the Dark Khaki. In sun, they look very similar to any of the Cairo scenes to my eye. Inside, they look a little darker. By comparison, the darker ...

I just received my Magnoli Adventure Pants Friday and thought I'd post some comparison pictures of the 3 pairs of Indy pants I own. From left to right there's Noel Howard's, Wested's, and finally Magnoli's. They're all great pants, but the Magnoli ones are a cut above. The stitching and general cons...

I'm getting a custom gun belt made, any advice?
I've found a place here in the Calgary that'll make me a custom gun belt for a decent price. They specialize in western era gun belts and can make me something nice with no trouble. I currently have an old Noel Howard Raiders gun belt that needs to be replaced. I've always liked the look of it, and ...

Found this awesome whip holder at www.thewhipstudio.com . It's got a turnbuckle and won't open unless you want it to. Perfect for when you don't need a quick-release.

Frankenstein's Indy Jacket. What parts would you use?
I'm thinking the jacket I get next will be made up of a few parts. Basically I want a Raider's jacket with a TOD collar--I don't like the fact that the Raider's collar stand extends all the way to the end of the storm flap--and maybe a single bottom button on the storm flap. If I can get it made, wh...
