I did get the coil keeper, but the fit in the holder is nice and tight as it is. It takes a lot to make it work its way loose as is, and if it does, I'll add the coil keeper.

westeds prewashed vegetable tanned lambskin.......if you can live with the reddish caramelly colour. i'd put the weight of the hide in the ranks of cowskin. definitely more robust than the novapelle and their chrome tanned lamb......kind of like lamb on steroids. You should have seen it before this years Pecard's treatment. It looked very Last Crusade.

This is the reason why I'm interested in going with a lambskin jacket now. I've already got a bulletproof one, now I want something softer and just a little more screen accurate in fit.

I own an Irish Poplin and trust me, you can't tell the difference when comparing it to any flat black tie. What really makes the difference is how it's knotted. The style of the times was rather short as compared to how we wear ties today.
