Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!
Hey all! It has been a long time since I've posted here. Today I was thinking back fondly of the day I received my CS Adventurebilt from Steve. Looking through my instagram I found that date to be Oct of 2013, nearly 10 years ago! Lucky for me, I share a similar head size to Harrison so this hat was...

Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!
I ordered an Adventurebilt from Steve back in 2008. Never heard from him again or got to see any hat. But I did hear he had fallen ill and that his computer crashed at some point so he had lost a lot of orders. I hope he's okay and that my little "donation" came to good use during rough t...

Re: Just visited Herbert Johnson in London
Looks splendid! I'm considering a beaver poet myself... what color is yours? Regular sable or deep sable? Deep Sable was introduced this year, so a Sept 2019 hat would be standard sable. They showed me that they had two colors of Sable in the shop. Raiders Sable and Dark Sable which they used for L...

May I inquire of the Herbert Johnson hat owners as to whether you notice a difference in floppiness or thickness in the HJ Rabbit and the HJ Beaver? If you have an HJ Rabbit but not a HJ Beaver to compare to, I would still be happy to hear about these details even without a Beaver comparison. Thank...

Hey everyone! Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Herbert Johnson while I’m vacationing in Europe for the next 2 weeks. Hey all, I'll be traveling through London in September this year and I definitely want to visit Herbert Johnson where I will probably just have to buy yet another hat. Yeah it was a bit stiff right out of the box, but wouldn't really call it overly stiff for a new hat. No more stiff than a new Akubra is out of the box. Thanks to Clipper I am now convinced the ROLA Plane hat has to be Carbon grey. So by default a moonstone grey Federation has to be a KotCS Train hat.
