I certainly wouldn't sell that thing--it's a great hat from a great vendor, all it needs is a little TLC to get it back in prime shape.

Get it reblocked and cleaned, but don't sell it!

For all my brim-cutting needs, I resort to a ruler, a piece of chalk, and a few shots of Whisky (more as per required depending on the cost/value of the hat) to steady the hand.
