Re: Indy whip on Ebay, scam?
Definitely looks like a scam. Not only is Joe’s work on there but Indy Magnoli’s deluxe whip as well. I’ve seen a few whips on eBay that look pretty good for amazing prices (ardourcrafts and equinelibrium) but I can’t help but wonder how legit any of those are either. The dangers of eBay, I suppose....

The HJ store is definitely a treat! I went in March of this year and was like a kid in a candy store. Wasn’t able to buy one then but I just placed an order today for a Rabbit Raiders w/turn. Yours looks fantastic, sir!

New Christy’s Adventurer
Hi all! I recently went on a study abroad trip to London with my university, where I got to do and see all sorts of interesting Theatre related stuff! One of the definite highlights, though, was getting to visit Herbert Johnson and Christy’s in person! Now, as much as I wanted to purchase an HJ Poet...

Thank you, sirs! :TOH: I’m not sure if I’ll order right away (it’s a theatre funded trip so our itinerary is chock full of shows), but at the very least I’ll still want to go visit in person and get them my measurements! I really couldn’t pass something like this up. And if I remember to charge my p...

Re: HJ Reboot (thanks for reading)
Hello all! Over Spring Break I’ll be visiting London (my hotel being about 30mins from Herbert Johnson according to their website) and it’s quite possible that I’ll have a chance to visit them. I’ll only be there a week, but would it be worth it to stop by and inquire about purchasing a Poet? There’...

I would say not necessarily. The thing to do is to check your fall and cracker area to see if there is a problem there. Since it is the cracker that makes the whip crack, the answer to your question is no.

Re: My Garrison Raider (Garrison owners unite here!)
That's a very interesting idea, David, and one I hadn't considered. So if you're right, then most of what separates the SoC from the other Raiders hats is just setting and lack of a jacket. SoC + jacket + inside + roaring fire = Raven Bar. -M SOC + jacket - satchel , then inside and roaring fire. I...

You can remove the wire with a pair of needlenose pliers. Just get hold of one end of the wire and slowly pull it out. Make sure you clear the end that may be 'hooked' to hold the two ends together. Otherwise, it is easy to slowly remove. The wire is there to hold the shape of the sweatband. I've d...
