I wonder: if Ford had worn the exact costume he wore in Raiders in KoSC would he have looked okay or not? I agree. Never been a fan of the Jacka whip for the reasons you mention. I dislike the overall colour, the darker knots, the shape of the TH, the longer wrist loop and the fact it is tied in a knot. Very interesting thread. I will always remember meeting Richard Swales when I was 12 years old and travelled to London and placed my order with him for a hat. He was a really nice guy and gave me a tour of the shop and sent the hat to me a week later. Does he still work at Swaine Adeney Brigg?
