Re: Which film jacket is your favorite?
I wonder: if Ford had worn the exact costume he wore in Raiders in KoSC would he have looked okay or not? I did some photoshop work on this some time ago and here is how he pretty much would look. http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g182/indianaholt/raiderscs2-1.jpg Now THAT'S how he should of looked...

Okay, I will do, thanks.
It's just a bit strange that they are still mentioned on here, that's all.
I'm curious as to how the story came about in the first place.

Young Indy Bullwhip in Last Crusade by Swaine Adeney Brigg?
I read on here that it's been reported that the Bullwhip used by Young Indy in The Last Crusade was made by Swaine Adeney Brigg, the company that took over Herbert Johnson, the company who made the hats for the original trilogy. I always thought this bit of information was a bit odd, if it's true. I...

Re: Which film jacket is your favorite?
Very surprised to see the Temple jacket has the least amount of votes, even less than the boring Crystal Skull jacket. The Temple jacket is so cool, it looked the best on Harrison's frame, was the most beat up and distressed and those wrinkled arms and collar with the frayed stitching looked great. ...

Re: Your favorite whip
I enjoy the Raiders SOC whip. Looks beat up, and abused and I like the dirty colour to end of the whip. I really like the look of the whip in that scene too although I would never let a whip of mine get in that condition although it does look cool. There is a great thread on the main whip page wher...

Re: Your favorite whip
I agree. Never been a fan of the Jacka whip for the reasons you mention. I dislike the overall colour, the darker knots, the shape of the TH, the longer wrist loop and the fact it is tied in a knot. To me, it doesn't represent the Indy whips like all the David Morgan ones do in pictures. Not sure wh...

As I have sold my David Morgan whip now I might get one in the future as a nice cheap replacement, just as a nice little keep sake to remind me of my Morgan.tomek9210 wrote:Dusty's whips are awesome. Period. Best quality for such small price. I think I'm raising some funds

I'm sure it wouldnt hurt it but you've seen pictures of my whip I think? It's in mint condition and hasn't even been cracked properly in it's 22 year old life. Re: Whip holder on web belt in CS
Fair enough. Maybe he'd had his whip and pistol confiscated by baddies one too many times and thought, "Sod it--let's switch the belt configuration around. At least I'll have a fighting chance of keeping my whip." Or maybe he was just tired of having to make that trip down to the local le...

Re: Why Indy Wears His Bagstrap OVER His Jacket In Indy 4
I agree with the above, it looked so much better underneath regardless of why the character himself or the creators changed it. I also agree with what somebody said earlier, apart from Indiana Jones I have never seen a bag worn under a jacket like that, it really is quite unique and original to Indi...

Well, with CS I was able to work on the movie itself on the Universal lot. But, primarily, I have worked with and for Steven in a variety of capacities since 1999. Maybe the character didn't want both of his weapons in the same place, where he could lose both. That way, if he was without one, then he still had the other.

And, for the 12 years I've been on these forums? I've never heard anybody say it made sense that he wore the bag under the jacket. Somebody once compare it to keeping your wallet in your underwear? I can think of Four. One, it allows you to keep the bag on when wearing and taking off the jacket---I...

Very interesting thread. I will always remember meeting Richard Swales when I was 12 years old and travelled to London and placed my order with him for a hat. He was a really nice guy and gave me a tour of the shop and sent the hat to me a week later. Does he still work at Swaine Adeney Brigg?
