Re: Indy Trousers from Todd's Costumes (With pictures)!

Based on the reviews, photos and credit from the website reviews, I put my order in this afternoon. I think the real selling point on these was maboot38's formal photo, that was the selling point to my wife (who in turn suggested I just wear regular khakis! ;))

Re: Copyright...

I've been following that thread, some people just need a soapbox to stand on, you can tell in the pointless rants and justifications. An artist creates work, that work is theirs, any duplication should require specific permission, the end. Funny that the tone over there, especially considering the c...

I didn't know you could get Wade's gun as a kit, I thought only completed, what does it usually run?

Re: Correct Indy Gloves?

Just to follow up on these gloves, had a chance to weather them a bit with some old fashioned work and some Long Island dirt, clay and sand. I helped my dad move a couple of fence posts and tear out some old bushes. http://homepage.mac.com/robleonard/gloves2.JPG Thinking they look pretty well distre...

Re: Correct Indy Gloves?

Thanks for the replies everyone, I ended up with the WK-0122 from Gloves Online, they came today: http://homepage.mac.com/robleonard/indyglove.jpg Everything seems good except for the navy band around the wrist, but a dunk in the chlorine bucket and some yard work should work the color into what it ...

Re: Correct Indy Gloves?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've been searching throughout the evening and I can't seem to find the definite answer on which gloves are the most screen accurate:

The WK-0122 from Gloves Online

or

the Wells Lamont 1133XL Pigskin

or

the Wells Lamont Y0122

My brain hurts from it all :)

Thanks for posting the video, the whole bow-tie technique has been a bit of a mystery to me. Particularly liked my wife walking by giving me the "what the heck are you watching now" face.

Re: Durability of the MK VII

Got my W&P bag today from WPG, only problem is that they sent the MKVI instead of the MKVII, anyone else ever have this problem?

Also, shipping was incredibly fast considering it started in the middle east, kudos to them.

Totally understand, the last thing I want to do as a new member is get you guys in trouble. I think I'll take your advice, everytime I get a new piece of gear I'll just show off the display I make, and if you guys need help in yours, just let me know

Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!

I think thats a great idea, and it could serve as a COA of sorts for the various gear/props/etc. As a bit of an obsessive compulsive, its always nice to have everything uniform! If you guys are into this idea I can start working on drafts. I'm a high school art teacher so I have some time over the s...

That is too bad, I'd love to make one for Peter to sign for the Raiders jackets but I can never get them via email to ask them is I can send them.

I don't mind at all! I printed it out on matte photo paper, just make sure you get the size right. I'll put a higher res (vector) version of it up if you'd like.

Thanks, I made a few to send Steve right before I received my hat, I wanted it to be inline with my Master Replicas stuff. Here's what the plaque had said:

Re: Durability of the MK VII

Hey I'm about to pick up a WG MKVII but am a bit confused on where to get the strap, is the $12 one they offer any good, or for a more accurate should I go to Todds or Indymagnoli's?

Thanks for the info everyone, and thanks for the link, as a newb I can't use the search function, it takes away from me introducing myself  Looks like I did OK with my first jacket going into it blindly. I'd researched the jackets for a few months when I was going to go for a custom but the mon...

Re: "Mystery" Wested Jacket, any info?

Not at all, I just like alot of information when i give me tours around the collection room :) I grabbed the jacket for a good price, and the fact that it had that lived in look, but the LE was a "added bonus," but no worries, I'll keep it forever and ever. It does actually fit quite nicel...

Re: "Mystery" Wested Jacket, any info?

Thanks guys!

Any ideas on how many the "limited edition" rounded out to? Was it actually more expensive when it was sold?

The lining has a little purple in it, but the iPhone camera definitely took some liberties it seems with color.

"Mystery" Wested Jacket, any info?

Hi everyone, this is my first post so bear with me. I've recently picked up a Wested Raiders jacket from a member on the rpf. He told me it was a "limited edition," washed lamb jacket that he picked up here about three years ago. Its really soft leather, and already has some wear to it tha...
