Looks good. You know, I forgot the bottle in the sleeve bit. My new Aero had cuffs that are a tad tight, so I did this last night (hot water on the cuffs followed by bottles) and let it dry overnight. Voila! Now they're perfect.
Glad yours worked out too!

Dunno. People expect jackets to look like pics of 50 year old samples in a few weeks. No shortcuts to a great jacket breakin. That's me. Artificial means of aging always look crappy to me. But good luck with it.

The hide(s) are just @#$%. Maybe it's due to the 3XL size. But the other USW are also 3xl. Bad quality, bad matching. Bad stitching.

My USW import cow Hero, hide-wise, pretty much stinks. I didn't want to admit it, but I wore it once, now it sits in the closet. Good Will gets it next. No more junk for me. Two other USW are pretty nice. A2 & G1.

FQHH is too thick. Not the right look at all. It wears in beautifully, but for an A2, mid-weight HH is perfect and correct.

Only problem with the G1 is the connection to "Top Gun" IMHO.
It's a great jacket. And if it's good enough for the flyboys, it works for me.
The A2 stands out for me as the most iconic design.
But if you haven't seen it, check out the A1 on the Good Wear site. Drool worthy.

Problem is modern A2's. They're cut big. As in big, fatter American style to accommodate larger folks.
Look at accurate repro's. They're indeed slimmer cut in body and arms.
Also, it depends on the contract of A2. Some earlier models were trimmer yet.
