If you look at the customer review picture you’ll see that there are snap buttons all the way up the storm flap. Kinda kills it for me. I mean, not bad for cheap Halloween cosplay, but too different for our crowd.

Just a word of caution to all, it’s not specified on the site, but the Raiders 40th Anniversary jackets come filled with poly for winter use, and also have the Last Crusade style snap on the storm flap. And no, you can’t get it without the snap. Yep, this is how mine came as well. Now I’m torn. Do ...

Re: USWings 40th anniversary Indy/Cooper jackets!

Got my Cooper Striated Lambskin Indy jacket today. This is not, by far, my first Indy jacket from them, but it definitely stands out. Basic info: It. Is. Beautiful. The striations are very prominent and from a pure looks department, I am impressed. Chocolate brown in color -- it's on the darker side...

Re: Wested Washed Lamb

It looks fantastic, but I do have a complaint. The leather is so thin that the base of the hand warmer pockets tears. I’ve had two jackets in washed lamb tear already. And it was not after hard use, either, just typical hands in pockets stuff. In both cases the tearing started after just 2-3 wearing...

Well, the response was essentially, "It's been too long since you bought it, there's nothing we can do." Unfortunately, there is no customer service escalation path. Wested is a pretty compact organization. If you're talking to them, you're already talking to the top. So, I don't see any c...

Re: How would you go about fixing this?

Thank you all for the feedback. I'm going to stay away from the local repair option. I agree that it would be a half-solution and not really get me what I want. My two options are: 1) trash the jacket (and maybe replace it...although it hurts to effectively pay twice for a jacket) or 2) send it in a...

Well, I politely asked if replacement or repair was an option because it failed so soon. I've had it since April, but only just wore it. Texas hasn't had jacket weather until now, so it spent a few months in the closet. Their response was a polite quote of £85 for possible repair, not including ship...

That's precisely the way I like mine to fit. I prefer mine to be just a smidge longer than normal. For whatever reason in just looks and feels right on my body. I sometimes wear a hoodie under it and longer just works better in that configuration. Great looking jacket and great fit. Congrats!

I think 37" will be fine for the sleeves. I have had my original Expo for 5+ years now and there really hasn't been that much natural shortening of the sleeves. The elastic internal straps are a great addition to keep the action pleats tamed. However, keep in mind that if you decide to do the w...

So, I got mine about a week ago. My first impression is not terribly different from others. Leather is "plastic-y" and stiff. I've been leaving the top two hooks unlaced and, while they were still a little painfully stiff at the tops, about a day of wearing has loosened that up significant...

Well, you could douse the sleeves in warm water and then scrunch them until they get that super wrinkled effect. In others words let the sleeves dry while pushed up. That should take care of the length issues. Heck, I personally would use cold water because I like my sleeves a bit long. Either way, ...
