I was just looking at these options, myself. Personally I'm more likely to wear the flat-front version as everyday pants. There's something about pleats that just make me look funny...

Re: Aldo shoes model Rodiguez (close-ish boots)

I purchased a pair of these Rodriguez boots about 2 months ago and I've worn them about 10 times. My first impression was that they looked pretty good and the leather was nice and supple. They fit a bit on the larger side, but wearing thicker socks remedied that. From the second time I wore them thr...

Re: US Wings SL Legend USA after a bath

Lookin' good, Kaplan! I've been toying with the "shower treatment" for my month-old Wested lamb -- I'm really enjoying wearing it as much as I can and allowing it to gain some character naturally, but getting it wet seems to really accelerate the aging process... I was determined to go the...

Re: Magnoli and Wested pants

Nice comparison photos. It is easy to see the differences between the two, but they both look to be very nice. I personally like the more straight cut of the Magnolis, and they seem to fit you perfectly. Those Wested ones have a great color, though... How do they compare in terms of material thickne...

hmmm yeah the two jackets certainly appear to be different sizes even though they are the same... size. I wonder if they started out the same? The goat does look great on you, though, IMO.

Looks like you'll be using ol' trusty for a bit. BE SAFE!

Great jacket, tekors  It looks like a perfect fit on you. I'm slightly surprised at how the goatskin of your jacket looks pretty much exactly like the dark brown thick lambskin of my new jacket: http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50383 -- color and texture. I'm sure it certainly fe...

Re: LL Bean taupe close enough on sale

I got a pair of these last week and they are definitely quality. The hidden elastic waistband sections are pretty cool. The pants seem to run a bit long (I always wear a 32 inseam and these are definitely longer than my other pants) so I'll need to get them hemmed. I feel the only negative aspect of...

Re: And it starts with a Wested

You guys keep missing the fact that if you dont ask for the seam/yoke gap you get them lined up since that is the standard. And Steve the skin shown above is the dark heavier lambskin. I have the same. Holt's right, I didn't make any special requests for the sleeve/yoke seam alignment -- that's jus...

Re: My Todd's glover after half a summer

Looking good! But what are those big dark areas on top? They are wet with sweat. Once they are dry, you cannot see them. Yeah I was wondering that, too. Looked almost as if they were delaminating or something. Nothin' wrong with good ol' sweat! I've been considering picking up a pair of these... th...
