I´m planning on getting a new Raiders hat and I was wondering how I should size it. I currently have a Penman everyman that´s a size 58, which according to my numerous self-measurements should be my size, but ever since I´ve gotten it, the hat has felt tight on my head. hey there in my experience, the Advintage lids run big i've had a couple of Harrisons, one of which was sized 58 cm and the other one 57 cm i myself am a 58 cm (or ever so slightly less, i have two custom lids made by Mike at Northwest hats and they are made to fit me perfectly at 57,7 cm) the Harri...

Re: collar discipline in a wested LC jacket
I've never done it with distressed hide before, but I have had great success training collars with water and hand-shaping in the past. My impulse with a predistressed hide would be to attempt to use as little water as possible, which might require a bit of trial and error over several sessions. I m...

Mine arrived today. Very well packaged. A little snug for a 7 1/4 so I ordered a hat stretcher on EBay. Fits more like a 7 1/8 so should not be an issue to get a good fit. Indyhan, in what way would you mean by saying the turn can be tricky? I always thought it was simple. Maybe the tricky part is getting the precise look you want by just the right amount of turn? I hear what your saying John. When i took this pic the hat had been soaked through and the weight of the water kinda smooshed it. Totally agree. Advintage doesn't get that much atention as it should, according to the great hats they do, and they also have many options for different budgets.
