back of gloves darker - easy answer
The back of my gloves are always darker than my palms - I wipe my brow when I lift my lid to get some cool air up there with the back of my hand, not the palm. All the sweat and oils stain the back a nice dark colour compared to the palms.

I still have the tag from my tie I got from Noel. No address, sadly, but it does say "Royal Irish Poplin", referring to the fabric. Maybe Google it?

On the subject of socks, the following rhetorical question: Does one wear the same colour of socks everyday? I think not. I also think I am not that different than everyone else, excpet perhaps peole who wear a sort of uniform which requires a certain colour of sock. That having been said, I think i...

Conditioning / Polishing Aldens
I've read several posts where many have indicated they've used Pecards or other products on their Aldens. A few questions: 1) Did you use the leather dressing or the motorcycle version? From what I've read in postings, the Pecard's leather dressing makes things heavier, so I though maybe the motorcy...

Why not just take an existing, off-the-shelf whisk brush and modify it, like so: [insert snazzy Photshop 'before' and 'after' image set here] #-o OK - can someone toss me a bone here? I jsut noticed on the FAQ I cannot directly load the image - if someone can host the image post, I'd appreciate it. ...

Re: Distressing NH holster...
... the stiffness can be remedied by applying Pecards all the way around the whole holster. I would especially apply the Pecards inside the flap. My Keppler Holster was the same way, and it really loosened up with a couple of applications. -Sergei[/quote] Since starting to peruse this site, I unders...

Trousers - To Crease or not to Crease, That IS the Question
What are your opinions on the trousers for Raiders, TOD, and LC being creased?
Has anyone had success having existing creases removed from new Woolen NH/MBA trousers?
Would appreciate any thoughts (as if I had to ask).
Cheers.

Hi Indydawg, Thanks for the note on the LC jacket. As for whose jacket is it - good observation. I've also been toying with the idea of getting one a Raiders jacket, and hear the Flight Jackets is a good option. I guess when I'm gonna be swingin' my arms about dispatching baddies I could wear the Ra...

Gusset (sp?) added to Wested LC Jacket?
I've had my LC Wested (goat) for a while now, and wish it would age a bit faster. My question is this: When I ordered the jacket from Peter, he discussed that his design was the original, and the gussets were added on location by their costume people. Made sense, and I left it at that. Problem is, n...

Sources for Indy guns
I can't take credit for finding this resource; I think Lee was the one that posted it previously, but here is a great resource: http://adamsguns.com/0p.htm I did the transaction using a local dealer with a Federal Firearms License to receive the revolver (who charged a very agreeable and negligible ...

Alden 405's - New leather supplier being sourced
Just to let you all know the following. A friend of mine works for Alden. I was #####' and moanin' as usual about the reddish tone to the 405, and he said it was potentially a thing of the past. "Too much fan boy rage?", I taunted. Apparently not. The leather supplier for the 405 has gone ...
