Re: Indy Style Backpack

I second the Nat Geo bag Magnoli posted. I’ve used the same one for just over a year, and I love it. You can still find them pretty easily with an online search. I haven't pecarded it yet. The idea of using Fuller's earth or the like occured to me too. I thought it could help some. And since it is in the middle of the back panel, it should wipe off fairly easy.

Well then, I'll give the old wested a good helping of pecards. And next time, I'll pay attention to what I'm doing when I condition my jacket! So funny about the tempermental neatsfoot. I live in between two places, southern New York, and southern Pennsylvania, so I don't wanna take any chances on m...

The insight and advice of all you wonderful people has helped me out time and time again, and I enjoy belonging to such a friendly community. Now for my dilemma. I was get...

I just never really payed attention. I thought that Pecards was the conditoner Peter endorsed, and was made in the UK. Guess you ...

Other than Pecards...

Hey everybody. I was just wondering what a good stateside equivalent of Pecards would be. I just dropped some cash to get my second Wested, and I don't feel like making another overseas purchase for a while. I haven't conditioned my old Wested for over two and a half years. I did have a leath...

Air pistol laws?

Hey everyone. I have a quick question. I have an air pistol that makes a decent Indy pistol replica. I was going to buy CO cartridges and pellets for it, and practice my shooting. However, someone recently told me that having an air pistol is illegal, unless you register it, like a real gun. :? I tr...
