Re: Pics of Todd's Raider Fedora

These hats almost look like they've been turned, going by the bow placement, but without the brim warping. I wonder if it's possible to give the hat more of a raiders turn without having the bow being ridiculously far forward... Yeah I've tried it...but the bow would pretty much be above my eyes LO...

Re: Christy's Adventurer!

I recently got a Christys in black. I am quite unhappy with it (maybe I'm spoiled by my Henry) not only does the felt become easily warped, but the sweatband is very thick and stiff and digs into my forehead leaving a line and stitch marks. It's pretty unconfortable to wear and the ribbon stitching...

that looks like a Christy, but the ribbon doesn't match...it also has a more 'boxy-er' look than that of a Christy. So I'm assuming it's not a Christy. However, I'm going to guess that it is an HJ.

Are you sure your hat didn't shrink of a size or more? Brim distorsions are often caused by undersized hats (especially if the brim looks normal when laying on a shelf), it's the typical situation you get after wetting a Christy's badly. I'm 100% positive it's because he 1) has a bigger head than m...
