I think he was talking about the press studs on the jacket. They are like buttons that pop on the top and bottom of the storm flap to keep the flap tight against the jacket. I had a bomber jacket with it and I never used them either. As far as I know everyone gets the storm flap and it comes standar...

I just went to another walmart and found the exact pair I have been looking for! I really like the way they look except the crease down the front which I imagine that can be ironed out. I don't think thats a problem though. Unfortunately they didn't have a pair in my waist size that also had an extr...

Walmart has been such an annoyance lately. I just saw those pants maybe a month ago but I went back this weekend to pick up a pair and woosh! no pants! Mysteriously though a fresh set of the 1130 gloves with the patch on the palm showed up. After I found a very nice pair of gloves. I'm sure as soon ...

This is a 'sport' in Australia. Part of me wants to try it, but the other part of me likes all of my body parts just the way they are.

I remember when I got my package it was on the back porch hidden from my view. So I expected it to be on the front porch when I got home. I looked around and checked the mailbox (we have a HUGE mailbox) for a package. Then I gave up and expected it to come in tomorrow. It wasn't until two hours late...

If mine had them I would post pics of it but my old bomber jacket did. Although I think its a bad example since I don't know how the wested looks in comparison. I didn't like the tapered sleeves on my bomber though, it had the elastic cuffs and the sleeves were too short for me so it always rode up ...

I believe so, the gloves had no brand names on them but they are large and had the brown binding just as Todds Costumes web page specified his Wells Lamont Customs had. I was pretty happy with the result of his tutorial. But one thing about it I would change if you want slightly better and more natu...

I caught the Atlantis medallion too. :D (plus having COW on your computer screen :P ) The hat looks awesome! Your hats shaping does look slightly different from mine, but I believe thats due to the ways that beaver accepts bashes compared to rabbit. Mine won't accept a darn thing I do to it. It's li...

Although if I can figure out a way to try and make the ruggeds take on the same color as the Aldens do I would just be in pure joy. They do naturally distress really nicely and the tread is really nice too. One day I'll get a nice pair of aldens but until then I'll always be wearing my ruggeds. It c...

Oh don't get me wrong though I love the boots more than any shoe or boot I've ever owned in my life. :D I'm just saying if you want a decent Indy boot and only for an Indy boot you should most likely save your money for the real deal instead. Not real sure who I'm going to get my whip from. I'm not going to get a David Morgan just due to the price. I would opt for the IOAB but I wanted to push my money towards a 12 plait roohide whip this time around since my previous was 8 plait and latigo leather. If I don't manage to get enough money ...

I had a gut feeling that replacing the binding would be a lot more complicated than I had originally thought. :? I'll still probably get my girlfriend to look at it and see if she is confident she can do it right. If she isn't then I'll tell her that she doesn't have to worry about it. She is as obs...
