My votes would go to the Orvis shirt and/or the LLBean field shirt. Both reasonably priced and instantly recognizable as a standard "field shirt/safari shirt" style. Bean no longer makes that shirt, though, so you'd have to get one through eBay or some other "after market" source...

It's not a bad jacket at all, dude...although, to be honest, the removal of color so completely along all the seam edges just makes the distressing look too fake to me...a good distressing job should just accelerate the natural aging process...this makes it almost look like the seam edges are painte...
