GREAT NEWS!!!! One of MY students spotted the lone jacket, saw my name in it and took it home that day to bring to my class this afternoon. She said she wanted to make sure no one took it. J.W. Rinzler's book on the Complete Making of Indiana Jones is where this is from. There is a section talking about Jim Steranko being recruited to paint the concept art. In the instructions to him he is told to give him a jacket "like the one George wears" (or something to that effect......

Yes, very attractive price, and very appealing design! :mrgreen:

Both hides look good, but it's nice to know Wested has another option. I've yet to get my own Indy jacket, so I'm still looking around.

I wear my Federation IV in the rain at every opportunity. It's a bit floppy and slightly tapered today, as a result, but I think it's fine. From what I know, vintage felt can hold up even better than much of the best of what modern felt has to offer.

Heh, I got an Indy comment today again. It was very complimentary, from a professor passing by the hallway. She said "Indiana Jones!" and smiled. I blushed for a moment and said, "Well, thank you! That's actually what it is, the same style of hat!" and smiled back.
