Those wool blend pants look great! Especially the rear pocket placement. I have a few pairs of pants from other vendors and while all other details are spot on, the pockets are just placed to far away width-wise and they make my posterior look wider than it should! So says the missus. :D

+1 to the Peter's Bros. Indy straw! It's milan straw, so it's considerably floppy, but it breathes wonderfully. Got it soaked in a rain storm in the Yucatan last year and it looks even better! In fact, I had a hard time getting a good crease in it until it got soaked. Definitely recommended :TOH:

It all starts with the 'turn' and it must the dimensional cut brim as well. I've gotten my hats to do this by putting it on with the bow over my left ear, then holding the brim and turning it until the crease is center to your face. The knot on the bow should now be about a half inch in front of you...

I did have to replace the soles on one of the pairs I have after about 6 months, but that was a couple years ago, and they've held up great since then. Granted, I don't wear them every day, but I've hiked many miles through all sorts of terrain and they are well worth the price.

Okay, here it is!!! :lol: Wested Hero, size 44. Shrunken lamb (apparenlty one of the last ones?) Sleeve 23.5, back 24.5. Fits like a dream, although I was a little nervous since the measurments seemed a little small. I based them off of my LC in washed goat, knowing full well the cuts are different....

If you want to shrink it a little bit but not a full size, wash it in cold then throw it in the dryer. That's what I've done to all three of mine. They were slightly too big, but I wanted to allow for shrinkage and now they are perfect. Less heat, less shrinkage. I haven't experienced any 'bad side ...
