Wested may be cheaper for the jacket....but go ahead and add that jacket to your 'cart' and enjoy the overseas shipping charge that calculates... True story Kyle Wings' International shipping is just under $100 for a single jacket, US Domestic DHL $44. So it's swings and roundabouts. Shipping is ge...

Hi Michaelson Yes it IS me back again along as it remains civil. Answer: None really. More like a layer cake with extra zips. Nice but nothing to rave about. What do you mean by "layer cake"? I've heard the term before, makes me want a cuppa and a slice of something sweet. Thanks Peter. H...

I've got one off the peg Wested Washed Goat Raiders. About two years old. Every now and then I think about getting another jacket, but I always back off.

Just thought I'd bump this one and see what other options folks have found more recently. So we are looking for a wire rim, saddle bridge pair of glasses. With ear hooks or straight. What is in the film appears more rounded than what has been posted above. I'm wondering if they found a good pair of...

Are fedoras making a come-back in your area?

I'm happy to see a few more fedoras in the downtown Toronto area these days. Even one or two with the indy bash, though this is less common.

Any similar experiences?

Thanks for the advice, everyone.

I tried it and it was easy. It also makes it easier to make a straight bash when you can see what's happening from the inside of the hat.

Any tips on how to remove the liner from a Fed IV?

Will there be any residue, like glue left behind?

Has anyone researched the glasses in KOTCS? I'm 50 and have been collecting CS stuff. They look to be the saddle bridge style (i.e., no nosepieces), with perfectly round lenses. The arms (temples) are attached to the frames in the exact middle. They are likely from the same company (Algha) as the e...

Leather types from Wested

Anybody know if Wested is planning on any new leathers for their custom jackets?

I think the most recent one was the washed goat, or maybe ginger novapelle.

Any info from your connections, KT Templar?

Expedition Chest Fit

I have been back and forth a few times with Jessica at Gibson & Barnes, and have determined that a size 44T would be the way to go for me. The tall part of the equation is not an issue, but Jessica tells me that the jackets are actually cut 10" larger than the size. So, a size 44 would actu...

The leather in that jacket looks practically edible. Does anyone know if it's the same stuff that US wings uses for their Collectors Edition Signature Series™ Indy-style Vintage Adventurer Jacket?

New novapelle color from Wested?

Has anyone received a newer novapelle jacket from Wested lately? Can you confirm that they are a darker color than earlier batches? I'm thinking of ordering a custom Last Crusade in novapelle, but I already have a washed goat that is very dark, especially with Pecard's applied.

Thanks,
