Aldo my friend no worries :D :D :D @Pete: the cowhide is about 2-2,2mm thick. Not that much difficult to plait. It needs much power for skiving it free hands. As cowhide is weaker than kangaroo hide, and although I cut -as much as possible- the strands dedicated to the end of the whip in the back of...

In my experience:
For double handed whipcracking:
-stockwhips 10inch handle, 5ft thong
-6ft bullwhips, with a 12 inch handle
For single whipcracking:
-indy whip: 7 to 8ft bullwhip
-australian whip: The 8ft Ben Scott's Aussie.
