Probably a dumb question on coiling a whip

Howdy, folks; I noticed that when I got my latest whip, it was apparently "trained" to coil in one direction. Can I expect this to loosen up with use, or are whips always assumed to do this? I notice that in all the whip care sites, they tell you to store it loosely coiled. If I try to coi...

Re: It is impossible to own a Raiders HJ.

The way I look at it is like this: if it's impossible to own a Raiders HJ, it's equally impossible to own, say, a Martin guitar, simply because Christian Martin, the guy who started the company, died. You could probably say the same thing about any company that started making something cool, and the...

Re: Magnoli HJ Current Average Wait Time

I will say that I ordered a Magnoli because of the complete lack of response to e-mails I sent requesting information from hatters prominently and repeatedly mentioned here. Indy Magnoli was one of only two who responded, so Magnoli got my business. I hope that your situation is an exception, and th...

Re: Magnoli HJ Current Average Wait Time

Could anyone that's received one of these recently post how long it took? Cheers. Yojimbo, I had ordered my Mag/HJ/AB late July of 08 and it arrived on my doorstep mid February 09. So all in all it took about seven months. I think the wait time also has a lot to do with the amount of hat bodies tha...

That is a nice hat, BendingOak -- what kind of timeframe do you estimate to make and ship a brown Indy in beaver?

Re: AB orders 2008

I draw the line at a 5 year wait. To me nothing is worth waiting 5 years. I would buy another brand of knife!!! I am pretty new here and this is my second posting so I just had to say that when I ordered my AB I was not a member of COW and had no idea of a the wait time that was involved, I...
