I saw several threads but didn't want to hijack someone else's so I'll post my own review. THIS... HAT... ROCKS! I own the Downtowner, which is an awesome hat for the money but Todd's Raider is so much better. It's a softer, velvety fur felt and more flexible than the Downtowner. It's lighter, cream...

I have both Farnums and Aldens. I love them both and wear them pretty much every day. I may be mistaken, but my sense is that Todd's are made to be a "costume" boot rather than a daily wearer. If you want them just to wear when you're "geared up" for some event, that's one thing...

Love my Aldens. I too could never justify the price, but eventually said "what the heck", saved my money and splurged on myself. Will never regret it. I wear a 13D and my initial order from Aldens was a 13D, but they were HUGE on me so I returned them for a 12.5D. Fits a lot better. Congra...

For over twenty years, my other obsession was building an exact replica Bruce Springsteen's famous Esquire guitar. My first attempt was back in 1988 but the color was driving me nuts. Just one question, does Todd replace the ribbon? I have one of his ribbons from a couple of years ago and it seems darker than the one that came with my Downtowner, which is almost a purple-ish.
If not, does he offer ribbon replacement?
