Re: Swinging from a tree with a whip

When I was around 12 or 13 (26 now) my dad went to disneyland and brought me back, what was at the time, an indiana jones whip... looked nothing like it  . In any case I used to whip that around low tree branches and swing quite successfully. Absolutely destroyed what was a cheaply made 4 plai...

Re: Can anyone share some Fullers Earth?

Without a Mortar and Pestle, I have been unable to grind the FE rocks down to a fine enough powder that will really stick to my hat - thankfully, I found an ebay listing for a 4oz bag of FE powder for pretty cheap so I went ahead and bought that. I will post some photos once I get it and how it loo...

Re: Trousers & shirt from Wested - dry cleaning?

Personal experience, wash the shirt but at relatively low temperatures. I've found that the fusing one the collar can bubble over time, I do not know if this is due to high temperature machine washing. It does not ruin the shirt just is no longer 'pristine'. As for the trousers I would dry clean. Y...

Re: Which jacket fits me better: a poll!

B gets my vote. I would also recommend getting it wet and wearing it a lot. It will slowly conform to your body and feel good. But if you like the more tailored look of A, I go with that. After you wear it a hundred hours or so, some of those kinks will work themselves out. As long as it isn't too ...

Re: Wested ToD nylon lining problems ANYONE else???

I hadn't had any problems with mine yet. But I did keep a cell phone in it the first time (of 2 or 3) that I wore it and I thought it bagged the lining out some. I quit putting the cell phone there for fear of stretching the lining. my wested jacket lining is tearing out in places after one week of...

Re: My first Wested Raiders (better pics in top post)

Didn't see any leather on the inside of the zipper.... Measured the arm holes..they are 10-10 1/2 if I pull it tight. If the 44 is 11 1/2 then That would sure help..combined with the extra around the back..I think I need it. Packing it up and going to post office. SIgh...I hate to wait..especioally...
