Re: DoD Jacket — Dial Pocket

Hi. I believe the dial is stored in the open lining on the right side, as you can see here.
In the film he pulls it out from that side with his left hand.

Re: Wested Destiny Jacket

Hello, I hope you understand me. I'm not saying that the Wested product is not a good choice. Wested is quality, without a doubt. But the Destiny jacket isn't screen faithful in highly visible ways. The drop of the shoulders, due to the width of the pattern, this is not correct. HF wears a jacket th...

Re: Wested Destiny Jacket

My humble opinion, absolutely NO. The leather seems to be correct, maybe too thick. But the construction of the pockets and the drop of the shoulders are not correct. Re: Steele & Jones Cazadora '69 "Destiny Hero" Jacket

Thanks for the comments and photos, Chose Poorly. Guys, seeing the comparison of this S&J and the Wested: don't you think that Wested jacket is a crude replica of the Destiny? the S&J reproduces the smaller neck, the leather seems thinner and fits better, and what is most striking: the front...

Re: Wested Destiny Jacket

It's a good sign, another is that the pockets on the Wested Destiny aren't right, too big compared to the Screen Destiny. Thanks for yours comments! You're right the jackets did vary. I actually think the Wested seam may have been a different way of attaching the pocket flap. It is unfinished at the top and not piped.
