I don't use a liner anymore in my fed IV. It always got dirty. During hot days I've noticed I feel better without it.

First I have trimmed a little bit my fed with scissors : 2-3 mm on both sides. Then I've made a "square looking" block of pear wood. It was really easy to make one after I had found a good peace of trunk. It took my like two afternoons to form it with a file and sand paper. It is not finis...

Yes they are still aviable - in one of the military shop in Poland. I think if you browse french or german military shops online you should find them. Try STURM - http://www.sturm-miltec.de/

I have Timberlands too. They are very comfy and you can change their color easily. You can also glue a few wooden cylinders inside the heel holes to harden them.

I have recently bought an original II WW bag (probably 1941). It is almost impossible to buy one in Poland – guess I was lucky. As far as I'm concerned these are Timberland #59569 and they were part of 2007 holiday collection. Try to google them. I guess I was lucky enouh to find them in a very small shop around the corner.
