Re: Au naturale -- Hat without liner?

I don't use a liner anymore in my fed IV. It always got dirty. During hot days I've noticed I feel better without it.

Re: Alternative Aldens?

Perhaps you should try to contact a few IIWW reenactment groups or military shops in US.
STORM is a popular and high quality reenactment trade-mark in Europe.

Re: NVA - DDR german trousers

Yes they are still aviable - in one of the military shop in Poland. I think if you browse french or german military shops online you should find them. Try STURM - http://www.sturm-miltec.de/

I have Timberlands too. They are very comfy and you can change their color easily. You can also glue a few wooden cylinders inside the heel holes to harden them.

Re: Original MKVII...is not SA (???)

I have recently bought an original II WW bag (probably 1941). It is almost impossible to buy one in Poland – guess I was lucky. The bag was brought by a polish soldier of II Corp from England, where he stationed during the war. I didn’t decide to remove the strap yet :-k http://img33.imageshack.us/i...

Re: Timberland close enough boot

As far as I'm concerned these are Timberland #59569 and they were part of 2007 holiday collection. Try to google them. I guess I was lucky enouh to find them in a very small shop around the corner.
