Re: A paracord whip...well kinda
Nicely done. How did you get the tails connected to the handle? Regards, Indiana Jeff That was the tricky part. All the ones I saw when researching appeared to be a hollow PVC material that was plaited and the tails were pushed down inside it with the knot to covered it. I can say that my handle is...

A paracord whip...well kinda
In my spare time I like to dink around braiding with para cord and leather. I have made a few nylon whips and still haven't taken the plunge into a leather whip yet...and honestly I don't know if I will. I had a person contact me to see about a cat o nine tails....I jumped at the challenge. With nev...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I have to say I really just love this jacket. I found out that US Wings is about 1 1/2 hrs from where I live so in the morning I am planning a trip out to the retail shop to hopefully pick out a new jacket. DW,
I have been watching your videos and they are great. I have learned better technique from them. Keep them coming and would love your take on the overhand or forward crack..... It looks so simple and it should be easy but it is eluding me to the point of frustration!
Keep up the good work

works good! Scuff or remove any finish on the brass..new solid brass items usually are lacquered. Should display a nice array of colors and ultimatly to black throughout the process.

If you want to dull it down....sand off the film over the brass. (sometimes they are lacquered to prevent tarnishing.) then take a coffee can and fill it with about an inch or two of ammonia. Get a piece of wire and poke it through the lid of the coffee can and wire the buckle to it. Suspend the buc...
