My New Del Carpio Raiders 2 8ft
So this length of awesomeness arrived in the post two days ago, cracked overhead on the first attempt with next to no effort. Just stunning. All the praise for Bernardo's whips doesn't begin to describe how amazing this whip is. I'm an amateur whip cracker and this whip makes me appear FAR more skil...

I was there on saturday, didn't dress up, didn't buy much as there weren't any real bargains. I just wanted to see Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Given that the population of Melbourne is something like 4million in the metro area, getting a comic convention is a pretty good achievement I think. But yeah...

I saw a Global Gear jacket in the flesh at Melbourne Supanova convention last weekend. Not particularly screen accurate. At all. Huge wide sleeves, greasy dark thin leather with a heavily thick quilted interior, made in India. Massive design variations from the film jacket as you can see in the pics...

For those who are interested, that is a Wade Egan belt with the super whip holder done in a Raiders style, riveted on. So you get all the joy of a double loop holding your whip secure, no need for fishing line, and without close inspection, it appears screen accurate. Combined with the Nowak New Goa...

How good can a Todd's Holster look?
Pretty good I think! I just got my Todd's holster back from Raidersbash after a serious session of wet-blocking and distressing over the end of year period to get it looking like a Raiders holster. Thanks again for that Mike, because as we know, there is no way I could get that done down here with o...

Have to agree with the wear-and-fade reports. I bought two Todds about 18 months ago and I have been wearing one of them regularly and the other has been left in the cupboard. The worn one has been worn then washed about every three weeks and it is significantly lighter in colour now in comparison (...

What the current options for a resin or similar S&W? Much as I'd like to get the real deal or even Todd's blank firing version, Australian Customs appears to be all over anything that could resemble a gun. Pretty soon this country will outlaw us from making the gun shape with fingers and thumb :...

Hey Weston, thanks for the pics. Quick question: is the size of all these jackets you're wearing a Large? yep - no variation on the pocket specs, 8" by 6.75".
I agree about the collar. Tony asked if I wanted any distressing and I said no, as I planned to beat the fruit out of it myself. He seemed pleased with this course of action.
