Re: Yojimbo Jones/AB Side by Side - Now With Measurements
I agree with everything you say, Steve. You only have to read a few of my threads / posts in the jacket section to see that I'm a bit of a purist! Having a few HJ's from the Raiders era and before, as well as newer off-the-rack modern hats, I can feel the difference between the 2. Luckily that one striated lamb jacket lasted through 90% of the movie as far as I can tell. Is anyone able to confirm which scenes the calf jackets were in? I'm guessing Bantu Wind dock and Imam's House.

Re: Yojimbo Jones/AB Side by Side
Absolutely, and it just comes down to what your criteria for your hat is. For myself, I look at it like the jacket, I could go horsehide for the jacket, but the drape isn't ever going to nail the look or the nuances of the right kind of lamb jacket. It's the same with rabbit. Personally I spend my m...

Yeah, I agree on all points. I see the distressed styles of my hat as having a different purpose to the "straight" ones. To me, it just made sense to have a set of offerings that are a perfect match for the different stages of the really beaten hat we fell in love with in the first place. ...

Hi guys, I've been playing around with a number of hat styles lately, and had initially been avoiding distressing any of them - I wasn't interested. But then curiosity got the better of me when people kept asking for styles of hat that BEGGED to be distressed - they wouldn't look right if they didn't...

Will Cooper go on the record as giving his side of the story - there's just SO much missing story now that undoes almost all of the research we accepted as the real story behind the jackets. There are 4 different jackets we can idintify - did Cooper make 2 of those? Where does Peter fit in? There ar...

Without going into unnecessary detail, your hat is only a few millimetres bigger than your actual head measurement (pre-shave job), but because of the way your hat's pre-conformed for the truck chase style with very soft felt, it has a more pliable feel. I can see those extra mm may make it feel big...
