i wear a watch, so i don't like to be constricted at the wrist. if you get a jacket that fits you, the sleeves shouldn't be going too far past the wrist.

it also doesn't *hurt* to have the open cuffs be SA. ;-)

I think many on this board are far too quick to label garments that don't meet their very high (and sometimes unrealistic) expectations as "costume" garments (or leather gear). I'm not the only recipient of this label, either, many other good vendors get this label placed on their product...

i'm certainly no expert on this topic, but i can tell you that *some* of the guys over at fedora lounge have a reputation for being somewhat contrary, especially about vintage jackets.

i'd err on the side of objectivity, and take their statements with a grain of salt.
