Re: MKVII Satchel: Screen Accurate with MODERN Interior!
Might have to order one of these! My current second-hand Magnoli that I've had for... oh, eleven years maybe?... is showing enough wear that I've relegated it to just costume use. Would be nice to be able to have an MK VII to use on a regular basis again.

Restoration Hardware didn't offer the metal torches this year, unfortunately, but here's a retro style flashlight available at Target right now. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8496/8293675912_b6404d4dd6_z.jpg It's not as nice as my RH one and it has a weird green plastic ring around the lens. Would you mind opening it up and take photos and measurements of the various pieces of the "guts" so I might see if they can be adapted to my vintage flashlight? Unfortunately, it was part of the Gear packed in my big purple duffle bag -- the one that the airline lost. Once I get it back ...

Actually, I had a similar problem. I wasn't wearing my Indy shirt but a linen one that was dressier. I got caught out in the rain and the strap left a band of tan brown across the shirt. I was thinking about posting a question asking which straps do NOT stain. I'd like to eventually upgrade to a str...

This may be something most of you guys already know how to do, but for those of us who are more timid about fiddling with their gear I thought this might be of some help. One of my co-workers has a jacket from WDW. I snapped some photos of it last year. I think he purchased it just after the turn of the millenium but I'll have to ask him to confirm. Interestingly, I did not see any jackets in the store when I visited WDW in January. The leather is very heavy. http://...

You fit that monster in a duffle bag!?! Yeeouch. It's a monster-sized duffle bag! ;) Tron's idea is a good one, too, if you have a suitcase. Smaller soft items could go inside the crown. I would only do this if I were taking it in a carry-on, though. I wouldn't trust TSA to repack it without crushi...

I had the hat box inside a large duffel bag which also carried my clothe...
