Re: Is Herbert Johnson the holy grail of indy fedoras now?
I was lucky enough to win a HJ at the Adventurers Summit. On the advice of Vic Armstrong I went with a Last Crusade model. It really is a great hat, and I believe that it is blocked on the same block they used for the ones used in the Last Crusade. For my Raiders Indy I have a Penman Everyman. So as...

Sorry it took so long. Pictures here of my Wested ROLA in goat. That's the dark jacket and it is almost ten years old now. Worn it quite a bit. The other jacket is my new Wested Last Crusade in preparation distressed hide. I got that a few weeks ago, just before Peter passed away. http://i.imgur.com...

I have had a Wested goat ROLA for almost ten years now. Jacket has never let me down. I would recommend it. How well has it distressed and what's the colour like? I've seen some that look almost black. I want my jacket to age well and not still look brand new in a few years. It hasn't distressed a ...

A new hat for my Raiders look. My Everyman has arrived!
For years I have been wearing my Fed IV for almost ten years now and the hat is just great. No complaints there. But as for the look, it is, as you will all agree, more of a Last Crusade hat than a Raiders hat. So when I looked at my gear, it was sort of half LC, half Raiders. My Wested jacket was a...
