I’m a fan of paracord whips as well. My first real whip was paracord and I learned how to crack a whip using it.

The only thing to add is paracord whips tend to be lighter than the same length leather whips. That’s not a negative to me.

100% agreed. Belloq’s entire aesthetic says he’s a guy who doesn’t get his hands dirty, he expects others to do that for him. The other tip from Adam Savage, always use at least three colors when aging/weathering props.

Maybe. All depends on what the spots are. If the hat sponge did not work that sounds to me like the spot is soaked into the felt and not strictly on the surface. A regular wet sponge with a mild detergent could do the trick. It could also discolor the felt. Adventurebilt always swore by naphtha whic...

I’m not seeing a D ring. I think it’s a trick of the light. The fabric of the bag is bunched up indicating a round ring to me. I think that depends on the sweatband too. My hats have shrunk naturally to different degrees from different makers.

I would think the lamp would work better by providing more direct/intense heat than leaving the hat in a car.

That's interesting about the novelization. I didn't know it is written that the monkey steals Indy's gun. In the movie the monkey doesn't go anywhere near Indy's holster. I don't see the monkey having anything to do with the distribution of guns. The monkey scurries onto the Monkey Man's (is it him?...
