Re: Bag strap getting shirt dirty

Thought I would bump this. The dirty marks on my shirt that comes from my bag strap is dirt, not dye. Every time I wear it. I think it must be something with the tanning or leather oils that collect the dirt. I have tried laquer thinner to dry it out and re oil it but has not worked. I got this stra...

Re: Lee Keppler Fedora "Raiders"

Ive been away for a while, been busy, not so busy with life etc. I wear my Kepler fed every day and its worn out, especially after some major repair from the dog getting it. Well, I got my hat in 08. It eventually shrank and tapered from wear in the rain and looks a tad odd for a true radiers hat. I...

Re: how to clean a sweat stain out of a fedora

Great, I will try it. My fedora cant look any more worn than it is so it wont hut unless I remove dye. Funny, I have always worn good quality cowboy hats growing up and up to a few years ago when I found a good fedora I could afford. My cowbody hats were always black, and I wore them in the same har...

Yeah guys, I know it could have been made later, but probably not much after the mid 30s. The way the collars screw together would have been easier to make by the time WWII came around.

Bag strap getting shirt dirty

Ever since I got my bag, the leather strap has been making my shirt dirty along the button strip and pocket flaps. Im not sure if its the dye or dirt sticking to it and rubbing off on my shirt. It may be coming from the rough side more than the tanned smooth side. I have cleaned both sides with a cl...

A while back I bought a really nice 12ft whip. Its 16 plait I think, if I remember correctly. I have only been able to crack it once since Ive owned it. Its just too darn long.
